Revenue Sources and Projections

There are five main revenue sources that Division6ix as a company will obtain as of the date and time of this whitepaper. We project that additional revenue sources will emerge as opportunities open in the future.

First and foremost, Division6ix’s ICO will act as a significant revenue stream. As mentioned in the Technical Development Section, details regarding the ICO will be comprehensively stated in the D6IX ICO section. However, from a funding perspective, the money made from the sale will be the main source of funding for all the initiation projects.

The second source of revenue for Division6ix are the fees embedded into the NFT smart contracts within The Galaxy. For each transaction that occurs in the marketplace, a miniscule fee will be paid to Division6ix. This fee is the user’s cost for using the firm’s services, but it will barely be felt as it is small in proportion to the transaction value. This revenue stream relies on the assumption that the volume of transactions that occur at any given time is high enough to produce a substantial income. It is for this reason that operating on a global level is crucial. This way, individuals from all over the world will be engaging with the platform and The Galaxy, with the aim for transactions to be occurring all the time. Potential methods to engage the user with The Galaxy is to design it in a way that makes it particularly attractive from a visual perspective. It will also be the easiest part of the platform to access, with links and adverts populated throughout the platform (and outside potentially within other esports organisations).

The third source of revenue is sponsorship. In the Competitors and Market Penetration section, the importance of sponsorship was highlighted. Division6ix expects to earn money from brands all over the world who wish to sponsor the company, the teams, or any individual players. These sponsors include big brands like Red Bull and Coca Cola, but also service-related brands like Banks and Fintech companies.

The fourth and final source of revenue is through advertising. On the Galaxy Marketplace, all sorts of goods and services will be sold, so in order to penetrate a large market of Division6ix players and viewers, sellers have the option to post sponsored adverts in various areas within the Division6ix Platform, from the streaming section, to the social media feed, all the way to advantageous parts of Galaxy, where users can pay to have their items listed on the top of the results page, or to have their items on the “spotlight” section of the Galaxy marketplace. This market advertising system is very similar to the models of other second-hand marketplaces like eBay and Gumtree and are proven to be highly effective.
